Humanities HK Celebrates New Achievements

Faculty of Humanities HK recently celebrated 10 years of its establishment. A grand celebration hosted educators, scholars, students, and well-known partners from the region. For its tenth anniversary, EdUHK reviewed the outstanding accomplishments of the Faculty and presented innovative future projects that will continue to grow this educational institution and provide the best programs for its local and international students.

FHM also celebrated the opening of the FHM Humanities HK Research Hub. The hub will feature three research centres of FHM – Centre for Research on Chinese Language and Education (CRCLE), the Centre for Research on Linguistics and Language Studies (CRLLS), and the International Research Centre for Cultural Studies (IRCCS) as an addition to the existing 4 research centres available for Faculty’s students.

With reputable officiating guests that attended the ceremony, the director of the Research Centre for Chinese Literature and Literary Culture (RCCLLC) presented several projects and research areas that will be implemented at the respective centres, following the comparative cultures of care approach that proved its quality and efficiency at EdUHK.

One of the latest confirmations of EdUHK’s high efficacy is the information that the scholars of Humanities HK ranked among the top 2% of scientists in the world, as stated by Stanford University. During 10 years of its operation, EdUHK established an impeccable image in Hong Kong and became an aspiring institution for international students. Each year, more and more students across the world opt to pursue their education at Humanities HK because of the innovative departments, educators with unique, captivating teaching methods, modern approaches to studies, and comparative cultures of care, among many beneficial factors that attract students to EdUHK.
